They can't see themselves
A customer with a strong prescription cannot see the frame they are trying on. Unable to decide, the sale drags out — or never happens.
Meet the AI assistant that greets the customer walking into your store, talks to them, captures their optical measurements in seconds and puts the frames they tried side by side: Monocle Vision.

The problem
A customer with a strong prescription cannot see the frame they are trying on. Unable to decide, the sale drags out — or never happens.
Frames tried five minutes ago are already forgotten. With nothing to compare, the customer says "let me think about it" and walks out.
Pupillary distance, vertex, pantoscopic tilt and segment height taken by hand carry a margin of error — and that means remakes and complaints.
The Monocle Vision answer
01 — Live comparison
Monocle Vision records every frame the customer tries as a short video and brings them onto one screen. Even with their own glasses off, the customer sees themselves clearly, compares, and decides faster.
Face analysis report, the frames they tried and your store's contact channels — one QR code.
02 — Social reach
When the session ends an elegant QR code appears on screen. The customer downloads their own footage, their analysis report and the recommended frames — and when they post it, your store is in the frame.
03 — Prestige
The device greets them, recognises returning customers by name, takes the measurements and recommends frames that suit their face. Your store stops being one of many.
“Welcome back, Mr Hughes. Compared with your measurements three months ago and the acetate frame we chose then…”

In three dimensions
Turn it on screen, zoom in, look at the material. Open this page on your phone and you can place the device on your own shop floor at full scale — see how the body sits next to your counter before you measure a single wall.

Monocle Vision · Optical Series
The same measurement engine, the same AI, the same software. Only the housing changes — for your counter, your wall or the middle of your floor.
A portable counter-top body for smaller stores and the consulting table.
A wall-mounted vertical screen that takes the place of the mirror — the strongest visual element in the store.
A free-standing touch totem. The customer explores alone; the optician takes over to close.
Technology
Monocle Vision is not a screen. It is a calibrated optical measurement system, real-time computer vision, a voice AI and a bridge into your store software.
A calibrated camera and a 468-point face mesh resolve the geometry. PD, vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt and segment height — target accuracy ±0.1 mm, taken from a series of frames rather than one, then approved by the optician.
Returning customers are greeted by name with reference to their previous measurement — only where they have given explicit consent. Recognition data never leaves the device.
Real-time spoken dialogue. The assistant reads the screen, knows the results and recommends frames and lenses for the customer's face shape.
Before installation we sit down with the optician and the sales team and build a 10–12 page "house language" document. The assistant speaks with your store's own voice, not a corporate robot's. No customer is recorded in this process.
The moment a frame is chosen and the prescription entered, the data flows into the store software and becomes an order. Nothing is typed twice.
What it is worth
No advisor greets their thirtieth customer with the energy of the first. Monocle Vision does — with your sentences, your range and your campaign rules, because every installation is configured for that one store.
Saturday afternoon or ten minutes before the shutters come down — the same care, the same questions.
Not a corporate robot. Trained on your house-language document, using the phrases you use.
With consent, it recalls the previous measurement and frame choice. The second visit goes better than the first.
Turkish and English as standard; German, Russian and Arabic can be added. Language stops costing you sales.
Monocle Vision takes over the repetitive work: measuring, entering data, photographing frames. Your optician spends that time on the thing that actually closes the sale — the customer.

One contract, one point of contact
Monocle Vision is currently in its pilot store phase. We work with a limited number of stores to mature the system in real selling conditions.
Pilot store programme
Would you like to look at your business through a different lens and make a fresh start? Send us your details; our team brings the device to you and runs it with your own customers.
Fill in the form. We call you within one working day to understand your store and customer flow.
We come with the device. Live measurement and comparison with your real customers — around 60–90 minutes, no need to close.
We play back the assistant profile built from your store's way of speaking.
Model, options and delivery are agreed, and installation is planned on pilot terms.
Questions
Monocle Vision is not taken off a shelf. Housing, screen, motorised height rail, language packs and the assistant trained for your store — every installation is configured differently. Quoting one price would mean overcharging one store and undercharging another. After the demo we work out what you actually need and send a written, fixed quotation. Pilot stores have their own terms, with two routes: priority delivery or the more economical pre-order queue.
A calibrated camera and a 468-point face mesh compute PD, vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt and segment height to a target accuracy of ±0.1 mm. Each measurement is taken across a series of frames and the median reported; the optician verifies and approves the result on screen.
Measurement and image data stay on the device in the store; backup goes only to an account the store owner defines. Face recognition is enabled only for customers who give explicit consent, and the biometric template never leaves the device. Consent flow and privacy notice are delivered with the system.
Measurement, comparison and reporting run entirely on the device. Only the real-time voice dialogue and cloud backup need a connection; when it returns, the queue is processed automatically.
The technology is developed in the United Kingdom and we are opening territories through authorised distributors. If you are an optical retailer or a potential distribution partner outside Turkey, send us the form — we will tell you the status of your market.
